Halloween Love Food Festival this Sunday!

Spread the love

Halloween this Sunday coincides nicely with the next Love Food Festival at Bath Road’s Paintworks, and the organisers have made sure that the event marks the occasion appropriately…

Children will love having the opportunity to make toffee apples, carve pumpkins and have their faces painted – and there are prizes for the best Halloween costume on the day.

For the adults, a variety of seasonal and festive foods and drinks will be served up, such as pumpkin soup, jerk chicken, hot chocolate and local steak sandwiches, as well as some delicious vegetarian food from Cafe Maitreya.

The indoor market gives those attending the chance to buy a variety of local produce – from cheeses and chutneys to milk and meat – with stallholders such as Ivor’s Ice Cream, Lazy Jose Coffee, Wooton Organic Dairy and The Storecupboard all attending on the day.

Massage, reflexology and shiatsu treatments will all be available at the event…or if you’re after an alternative way to relax, then head to the bar for a pint of local ale or cider.

Entry to the Love Food Festival is free – simply head down to Paintworks on Bath Road between 10.30am and 4pm to stock up on some of Bristol and the surrounding area’s best local produce!
