500 free tickets have been released for a special one-off event at National Trust property Tyntesfield in North Somerset on the evening of Friday, June 10th as part of Bristol’s Good Living Week

The Home Farm Frolic will take place from 7pm-10pm on the evening of the 10th, and will showcase Tyntesfield’s new visitor centre, which has been incorporated into the Grade II listed building (the house and grounds, however, will be closed for the event). Enjoy live music from The Hot Potato Syncopators and comic-visual performances from the Natural Theatre Company, in addition to being wowed by aerial silk performers who will be dancing their way up and down the farm’s exposed beams.

Of course, there’s also a food element to the evening…it wouldn’t be on here otherwise! Bring a picnic and enjoy eating it on the hay bale seating areas dotted around the farmyard, or buy a picnic hamper from Tyntesfield to eat on the night. In addition, Home Farm’s restaurant, Cow Barn, will also be showcasing local and seasonal food with its special “Frolic” menu, which’ll be inspired by the daily deliveries of fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs from Tyntesfield’s own kitchen garden.

Among those already looking forward to the evening is Tyntesfield general manager Anna Russell, who says, “We are really looking forward to our first Home Farm Frolic and hope that lots of people will come along and enjoy themselves. This will be a great opportunity to let your hair down and enjoy a wonderful evening of local food, live music and entertainment in amazing vintage Victorian surroundings”.

Booking for the event is essential – for more information, call 0844 249 1895 or look at the event page on the Tyntesfield website. Buses to Tyntesfield run from central Bristol – for more information, click here.
