Having launched their brand new outdoor pizza oven a few weeks ago, The Victoria Park on Raymend Road, BS3, are now dedicating a whole weekend to the exciting new kitchen area in the pub’s garden on July 9th and 10th…
The weekend’s menu will be cooked solely from their new wood-fired oven and barbecue area on both Saturday and Sunday, and the special menu will feature a host of dishes that will appeal to both meat eaters and vegetarians alike.
Designed with a Mediterranean feel in mind (hopefully the weather will match!), the menu will run all day on Saturday and until 5pm on Sunday, when their wood-fired pizza menu will return. Head down there if you fancy a meal with a difference in their beautiful garden, and enjoy something from the following menu…
Tonno e fagioli – Chargrilled tuna with a tuscan bean salad
Crispy pork belly with rosemary roast potatoes, salsa verde, smoked sausage & frisee salad
Roast smoked salmon fillet with a chick pea, beetroot & parsley salad & a balsamic dressing.
Tandoori chicken with a wild rice salad, cucumber & mint creme fraiche & a tomato chilli jam
Summer squash roasted ratatouille with goats curd & fresh herbs
21 day aged steak burger straight from the barbecue
21 day aged sirloin steak with all our usual trimmings
Greek salad
Cous Cous salad
Hot dogs will also be available.
It’s a great opportunity to check the place out if you’ve not yet had a chance to make it over there, and the menu sounds fantastic!
Had a pizza in the garden on sunday- it was superb
I really need to get over there and try one soon…hopefully this horrible weather won't last for long!
You really do- for £8, it knocked the spots off any pizza express/ask type
Last pizza I had was v disappointing (see this morning's review…) so a decent one is much-needed…especially at those prices! 🙂
