Broadmead’s German Christmas Market opens today (November 10th)

Open from 10am – 8pm Monday to Saturday and 10am – 7pm on Sundays, the market will be in place until Thursday, December 22nd, with a range of stalls selling traditional German gifts and crafts alongside food and drink products.

The market features a Christmas pyramid housing a bar as well as a cafe with a seating area, a Christmas tree with a children’s carousel and an advent calendar, 35 decorated chalets selling traditional German Christmas decorations, lights, nativity scenes and gifts, including wooden toys, baskets, soaps, lamps and amber jewellery. Festive food and drink will be on offer including gluhvein, bratwurst, waffles, liquorice, chocolates and cakes.

This year, a minimum of 6 people dining at the market will be able to enjoy a special Christmas meal offer for just £10, which will provide you with:

  • Bratwurst with potato salad or fried potatoes and sauerkraut
  • 2 cups of gluhwein or 2 glasses of beer (300ml)
  • Free gift of a gingerbread heart for each person

Bristol’s local “12 days of Christmas” market will also be in full swing from November 9th to December 20th, featuring the best in local produce from arts and crafts to food and drink.
