Cider and Sausage Festival, The Gryphon, May 5th – 6th

Spread the love

Bristol Cider Shop returns to The Gryphon this May bank holiday weekend for their Spring Cider Festival – this year with an extra ingredient. Not only will there be over 20 varieties of delicious cider and perry to enjoy, but there will also be 20 types of sausages!

As ever, all of the cider is locally made on traditional cider farms and the sausages are ‘proper’ sausages from local butchers. They will be served with a range of cider-based accompaniments including cider apple sauce, cider chutney, cider mustard and even pickled onions in Somerset cider! There will also be vegetarian sausages for our veggie friends.

Organiser Pete Snowman said “Everyone we’ve told thinks it’s a brilliant idea. I mean, cider and sausages – what’s not to like?! Our cider festivals are always loads of fun, and this year it’s on the bank holiday weekend so everyone’s got an extra day off to recover!”

The festival will be held upstairs at The Gryphon on Colston St from 12.00 – 12.00 on Saturday 5 & Sunday 6 May. Entry is free and all pints are £3 (or you can buy a strip of 4 tickets for £10 – which makes it £2.50 a pint!!).
