Tesco Wine Fair, Brunel’s Old Station, October 12th and 13th
Now celebrating their 10th anniversary, the Tesco Wine Fairs are the perfect day out for anyone who enjoys drinking wine. Whether you’re a complete novice or you consider yourself a bit of a wine buff, for just £12 per person you can taste and explore over 250 still and sparkling wines from all over the world. Visitors will also be able to purchase wines from the Fairs at a special price using an exclusive Tesco Wine Fair discount. Perfect if you are stocking up for Christmas, planning a big party or even organising a wedding!
What’s more you can meet the people who are actually responsible for producing the wines that you drink and ask them all those burning questions you’ve always wanted an answer to.
This year’s fairs will also see the return of the W Factor – where attendees will be able to put their wine presenting skills to the test and will in turn receive a prize.
Visitors can also take part in free workshops or ‘wine walks’ led by experts including Joe Wadsack and author of the recent best-seller ‘The Knackered Mother’s Wine Club’ Helen McGinn, as well as Tesco Master of Wine Laura Jewell. They will help you get to grips with all the basics including how to taste a wine and how to match wine with food.
This year the Tesco Wine Fair will be visiting Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham, Edinburgh and London.
