As this annual celebration creeps back up on us again, Love Food will be conjuring a terrific event to liven your taste buds. As we stew up our ideas in a cauldron of creativity, we aim to cast a memorable event filled with mouthwatering food, award-winning drinks and some seriously spooky fun. This event welcomes people of all ages to get into the holiday spirit.
The event space will house a huge themed market, a fine array of delicious produce where you’ll be guaranteed to find some treats. Choose from hearty homemade pies, freshly baked bread, unctuous local cheese, exquisite cakes, award winning local meat, hearty soups, homemade fudge, jewel coloured jams, gooey brownies, oils, sauces and much more.
Love Food are delighted that super talented local sculptors Hiatt Evans and Laurens Nockels will be joining in the fun again this year with their truly exceptional pumpkin carving skills. Children (and adults) will be delighted with their creations. The children’s area will also feature spooky arts and crafts, face painting and our annual fancy dress competition. Prizes will be awarded for the best costume.
The courtyard will be alive with some of the region’s finest street food vendors to help you fend off the autumn chill with a choice of spicy Mexican tacos, rich and warming game casserole, fiery Jerk chicken, sticky ribs & slaw, hot dogs, authentic paella and hearty pasties. To wash it all down there will be a choice of spiced hot chocolate, mulled cider, English wine and afternoon tea.
