Bristol’s Jonray and Peter Sanchez-Iglesias of Casamia in Westbury-on-Trym have been specially selected by Nigel Haworth and Craig Bancroft to join a number of the world’s best chefs and showcase their innovative and technical skills at Obsession Food Festival at Northcote Manor this January.
Obsession is an annual 10-day food festival like no other held at Northcote Manor, which attracts some of the biggest names in the chef world who are chosen to take over the kitchen for one night only and share their own menu with a truly appreciative audience. The cast for 2014 is a particularly impressive line-up including chefs such as Paul Ainsworth, owner of Number 6 in Padstow; Eric Chavot, French Michelin-starred chef of the Brasserie Chavot Restaurant; Gary Jones, Executive Head Chef of Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons; and of course Michellin-starred Bristol based brothers, Jonray & Peter Sanchez-Iglesias.
On Saturday January 25, Jonray and Peter will take to the stage and create a unique menu based on the Michelin-starred tasting menu offered at Casamia. Their menu will combine a number of their innovative dishes such as rainbow trout accompanied by a variation of cabbages, duck with root vegetables and woodruff and their famous apple pie.

After 14 years the Obsession Festival has remained one of the most renowned events in the UK for its quality and excellence. We intend to bring a truly unforgettable experience to our diners on Saturday and will be creating sense-stimulating dishes that will live up to the festival’s truly prestigious reputation.”
The festival is the brainchild of Nigel Haworth, an award winning Michelin-starred Head Chef, Managing Director and shareholder at Northcote Manor; and his partner, Craig Bancroft, joint Managing director and shareholder at Northcote Manor. Craig’s knowledge and reputation for wine and food matching is second to none, leading to numerous public appearances on The Richard & Judy Show, Granada and Sky television.
