Hickory Pig at the Three Tuns from February 4th
By now, many of you may have enjoyed the fantastic food from Meat and Bread that has been served at the Three Tuns on St George’s Road in recent months. The bad news is that Ben of Meat and Bread fame is taking a break for a few months…but the good news is that Hickory Pig will be stepping into his shoes for a stint from early February.
Fresh from their recent residencies at the Crofters Rights and Small Bar, Hickory Pig will be bringing their own brand of barbecue to the Three Tuns from Tuesday, February 4th. Everything that they serve is homemade, prepared from scratch and uses locally sourced ingredients where possible. The menu will be posted online this weekend, but think along the lines of pulled pork, smoked steaks and CBLT for lunches, moving onto options such as smoky hot wings, dirty burgers and chilli cheese fries in the evenings.
Hickory Pig will be serving lunch between 12-2.30pm, and dinner from 6-9.30pm, Tuesday to Saturday. We can’t wait…keep up to date with their plans and menus via Facebook or Twitter.
