The South West’s best chocolate producers and artisans take centre stage in Bristol’s biggest festival of chocolate this Easter weekend, on the 4th and 5th April 2015.

Taste Chocolate will take over Brunel Square and the Great Eastern Hall on Bristol’s Harbourside right next to the ss Great Britain with a FREE two day family friendly event, featuring 40 stalls, chocolate demonstrations, Prosecco bar, live music, children’s activities, competitions and much more.

Visitors can immerse themselves in all things chocolatey by devouring some of the finest chocolates made locally, learn about Bristol’s rich chocolate history and watch talented producers and chefs while they work their magic in the Taste Chocolate Cookery Theatre.

Chocolate fans can expect a wide range of local chocolatiers and artisans showcasing indulgent, beautifully crafted chocolates, cakes, pastries, fudge, churros, wine, beer, liqueurs, hot chocolate and of course, chocolate Easter eggs!

Festival Director, Sophie Bowden of CASUS Events explains;

“Bristol has a surprising and interesting history of Chocolate, being home to Joseph Fry and Sons, Elizabeth Shaw and more recently Guilbert’s. We are also lucky enough to have the finest chocolatiers and experimental chefs pushing the boundaries in the art of chocolate so it seemed like a natural home for a celebration of chocolate. Easter is the perfect time to host this festival and we’re excited to be located on Bristol’s historic harbourside, in the wonderful setting of Brunel’s ss Great Britain.”

Taste Chocolate takes place from 10am – 4.30pm on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th April 2015. For further information, visit the Taste Chocolate website www.tastechocolate.co.uk, follow Taste Chocolate on Facebook or @TasteChocUK on Twitter.
