We posted before about new American diner/sports bar Triple Bs that is set to open in the former home of Ozzy Al’s on Colston Avenue…and now we’re pleased to announce that a proposed opening of late May is now on the cards.

Head over to the Triple Bs Facebook page, and you’ll see that the owners are offering tickets to a huge VIP launch night to the first 500 people to like and share their page.

The owners have spent several years between them working in big corporate pub chains, and have a great deal of experience in running pubs. However, the time has now come when they want to do something for themselves, and so Triple Bs was born.

Triple Bs is inspired by a visit to America two years ago: a visited that introduced the pair to the country’s sports bars. The great family atmosphere and fantastic food that the whole family can enjoy is something that they’ll be aiming to replicate with their new venture.

Their aim? To create the number one sports bar in Bristol, but a sports bar with a difference. Alongside the multiple TVs showing a wide range of sports, they’ll also be family-friendly – and will have a huge focus on food too.

The Triple Bs menu will consist of fresh, homemade food, predominantly diner food such as burgers, sandwiches, wings and nachos. Alongside their food offering, they also plan to have a great range of drinks, including beers, spirits, cocktails and handmade milkshakes.

To stay up to date with the progress of Triple Bs, be sure to follow them on Facebook, where you’ll also have a chance to bag an invite to their huge launch event…
