Dumplings

Following on from the success of their Bristol Food Connections event, two of Bristol’s favourite foodies are joining forces on Saturday, 6th June to host a dumpling-making workshop in Bishopston. Danielle Coombs, of Bishopston Supper Club, and Jo Chow of Wai Yee Hong Chinese Supermarket will be demonstrating how easy it is to make Chinese dumplings and wontons at home.

The pair will offer a half day dumpling workshop at Bishopston Supper Club HQ for £35 per head on Saturday 6th June 2015, from 2pm-5pm. Attendees will learn how to fold jiaozi and wontons, have a taste of cooked pot-stickers and wonton soup, and will get to take away their own dumplings and wontons to cook at home as well as a goody-bag of ingredients from Wai Yee Hong.

Jo, of Wai Yee Hong, says: “We’re delighted to be teaming together with the fantastic Bishopston Supper club to provide this dumpling workshop. Bristol has a vibrant food scene, and we are excited to show people how fun it can be to make dumplings at home!”

To book your place on the workshop, visit the Wai Yee Hong website and purchase your place online: http://shop.waiyeehong.com/gifts/dumpling-workshop.

The workshop costs £35 per person, and is limited to 12 attendees. The recommended minimum age for this workshop is 8 years old.
