Australia’s oldest family-owned winery, Yalumba, is bringing the party to The Pump House. The Aussie institution is teaming up with the independently owned eatery for an exclusive pop-up supper club designed to celebrate pairing great wine with the best regional fare.

Hosted by Yalumba’s multi award-winning Chief Winemaker, Louisa Rose, the event on Tuesday 16 June will showcase wines from Yalumba’s current vintages, paired to each course. Rare Butchers of Southville will be joining the dinner – and supplying the meat for the main course on the night – along with Ashley Symons (former Pump House sous chef) from new artisan bakery, Baked Bristol.

“I’m really looking forward to collaborating with a local butcher from Rare and Ashley from Baked Bristol as well as meeting Louisa, it promises to be a fantastic night,” says Pump House owner and chef, Toby Gritten.

Tickets are available via a competition being organised by local independent wine merchant Avery’s, www.averys.com, tel. 0117 921 4146. A limited number are also available by contacting The Pump House directly, www.the-pumphouse.com, tel. 0117 927 2229.
