Another week, another coffee shop. On Monday, July 27th, Nonesuch Cup will open at 313 Gloucester Road. The first coffee shop from St Peter’s Hospice, it adjoins their regular shop next door, and all proceeds go towards patient care in Bristol and the surrounding area. Where does the name come from? Well, it comes from the Nonesuch flower – also known as the Flower of Bristol.

As well as supporting St Peter’s Hospice, Nonesuch Cup is set up to invest in the local community, using Bristol-based food and suppliers as far as possible, working with suppliers in Bedminster, Lodge Causeway, Barrow Gurney and St Philips.

Open from Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm, Nonesuch Cup includes both an indoor seating area and an extensive garden at the back.

The drinks menu includes a range of coffees, teas, cold drinks and smoothies, while the food menu includes breakfasts, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, salads, quiche and cream teas, all at very reasonable prices.

While Nonesuch Cup opens to the public on Monday, July 27th, the official opening will be on Thursday, July 30th at 11am with BCfm and Made in Bristol TV’s Pat Hart and Sherrie Eugene Hart.

For more information about Nonesuch Cup, visit their website, find them on Facebook or follow them on Twitter.
