VegfestUK returns to Bristol this weekend (May 21st and 22nd), and this year welcomes a large variety of nationalities and cultures at its show at the Amphitheatre on the harbourside.

The multicultural aspects of the show begin with a conveyor belt of vegan food, which has been the biggest draw of VegfestUK events for many years.

Expect Asian classics such as sushi rolls, Indian curries, Thai street food, Chinese stir fries and mock barbecued meats, as well as Nigerian cuisine, Spanish paella, crêpes, churros with vegan chocolate, Caribbean stews and plantains, Moroccan stews, falafel wraps, Mexican food, pizzas and more

There will also be various speakers from all over the globe, including vegan chef Nishma Shah, founder of London-based vegan catering company Shambhu’s, who will demonstrate some of her favourite vegan dishes. Vegan blogger, TV Presenter and author Kirly-Sue will showcase her cookery repertoire reflecting her Jamaican heritage, while Brazilian-born vegan traveller and blogger Glauce Lucas will speak on raising children on vegan diets.

There will be 180 stalls at the event, selling everything from raw vegan snacks and superfoods to tofu “turkey”, raw vegan chocolate and more.

Tickets on the gate are priced at £8 for adults and £4 for concessions. Kids under 16 get free entry.
