The Harbour Festival will be celebrated in style at Wapping Wharf this weekend, with plenty of food and drink action taking place within the new development.

Pop-up eateries from Biblos and The Jolly Hog will be open alongside Pizzarova’s crate at the bottom of Gaol Ferry Steps to cater for festivalgoers who are expected to flock through this new pedestrian route from Southville and beyond. Wild Beer Co will also have a pop-up in its soon-to-be-completed premises on Gaol Ferry Steps.

Organic food shop and café Better Food Co and coffee shop and bakery Mokoko, who are among the first retailers to start trading at Wapping Wharf, will also be open over the weekend to join in the festivities.

Bristol’s Harbour Festival, one of the city’s biggest free events, featuring art, dance and music, kicks off on the evening of Friday July 15th, and runs until the evening of Sunday July 17th.

Stuart Hatton, director at Umberslade, the developer behind Wapping Wharf, said: “We expect it to be buzzing at Wapping Wharf over the weekend with Better Food and Mokoko, as well as pop-ups by Biblos, The Jolly Hog, Wild Beer Co and Pizzarova on hand to provide festival goers with some great food and drink options, an opportunity to relax and hopefully enjoy some sunshine! It’s brilliant to see Wapping Wharf coming to life and playing its own part in Bristol’s vibrant arts, cultural, and food and drink scenes.”
