Wahaca Bristol - Interior

Can you believe it’s been a year since Wahaca opened their Bristol branch on Queens Road? To mark the occasion, there’s plenty going on on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th August – including plenty of freebies…

On Saturday, August 6th, we’ll see the return of the Wahaca taco truck, which will be located on the corner of Queens Avenue and Queens Road from 12-3pm. Hungry Bristolians will be able to grab a free taco and head over to the restaurant, where they’ll find live music, cocktail shaking, guacamole making and traditional Mexican fun.

On Sunday, August 7th, those who book a table for lunch in the restaurant will be treated to free tastings of Wahaca’s summer specials. These include the Beetroot & Goat’s Cheese Tostada (hibiscus-glazed beetroot with whipped goat’s cheese and baby spinach on a crispy blue corn tortilla) and the Gringa Taco (grilled pork pastor marinated in achiote and pineapple, served in a cheesy tortilla). There is also the promise of Mexican cocktails on the house… Tables for lunch on the Sunday can be booked online now, by clicking here.

Happy birthday Wahaca Bristol!
