As of Thursday, August 3rd, the new Hobbs House Bakery shop at 177 Gloucester Road is now open.

Right opposite the Bristol Flyer, the new bakery and café is open 7 days a week, from 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, and from 10am to 4pm on Sundays. Expect plenty of fresh, handmade bread, pastries and cakes, as well as coffees to drink in or take away using blends from Extract coffee roasters.

The Hobbs House team have also launched a brand new menu that features their signature sourdough toasties, alongside tartines and pizzas. There’s a dining area for those who want to eat in, or there’s the option to take away too.

We’re excited to see how the place develops – there’s been promises of more menu items to be added as the team settle in, with hints of sourdough waffles, baked eggs and custard brioche…get yourself over there to check out their wares!
