Wriggle and Wapping Wharf food tour

Oh my. If there’s ever a reason to over-indulge on great food, now’s the time – as Wriggle have announced the launch of their Wapping Wharf food tour.

Wriggle Bristol have teamed up with some of their favourite venues at the Cargo containers at Wapping Wharf to create a mini food tour! With both a meat and a vegetarian option available, this new concept allows you to try a little something from multiple vendors rather than sitting down to one meal.

Basically, you can explore Wapping Wharf at your own pace, finding new favourites. The tour is available on Friday, April 13th, Saturday, April 14th and Sunday, April 15th via the app, priced at £26.25 for 7 items for the non-vegetarian option, and £21.20 for 6 items for the vegeterian option. If all goes well, the plan is to extend the offer and make it available 7 days a week…

The vendors taking part and their offerings are below:

Non-Vegetarian

– A Pizzette (any toppings) from Pizzarova Crate, the Harbourside’s sourdough pizza pioneers (newly reopened for the summer!)

– A Crispy Duck Bao (a filled Asian steamed bun served with Peking Sauce, Leeks and Cucumber) from Wokyko, the Asian restaurant created by 2013 Masterchef finalist Larkin Cen

– Hoguettes (Slow roast pork shoulder BBQ croquettes and baconnaise) or Scotch Egg (not just any old Scotch Egg, mind) from Pigsty – who serve up all manner of stunning pork-based treats

– Any half Salt Beef Sandwich (the Southerner, the Reuben or the Bull Horn) from the salt beef kings and queens at Pickled Brisket

– Tamarind Chicken pieces from Sholay Kitchen – Nibbles of chicken in a sweet, tamarind sauce from the Indian street food experts

– Any flavour speciality Lemonade from Squeezed – the burger and lemonade guys

– A Waffle for one from Oliver’s Ice-Cream. Choose from their mouth-watering selection – served with their ice cream freshly made each day

Vegetarian

– A Pizzette (any toppings) from Pizzarova Crate, the Harbourside’s sourdough pizza pioneers (newly reopened for the summer!)

– A Grilled Cheese from the popular former-street food duo at Pickled Brisket

– Aloo Tikki Chaat (a crisp potato patty, smothered in a fragrantly spiced chickpea curry, topped with crispy sev, mint & coriander chutney, and date & tamarind chutney, minty yoghurt, chaat masala) from another stalwart of the Bristol street food scene, Gopal’s Curry Shack
