On September 7th and 8th 2019, coffee festival The Coffee House Project returns to the Passenger Shed – promising to be even bigger and better than last year’s debut.

This two-day festival “focuses on local, artisan roasters, independent food and drink retailers, and home-grown baristas”. Organisers Lou and Sofia are expecting this year’s Coffee House Project to feature up to 50 exhibitors, along with gourmet street food, DJs, and a whole host of workshops and talks. And what’s more, they promise that the festival will be disposable-free for 2019.

Expect workshops covering everything from latte art and coffee cocktails to home brew fundamentals and more, and visit exhibitors that include plenty of roasters and coffee shops, as well as street food stalls from the likes of Ah-Ma’s Dumplings, Swoon and Taco Barra. There will also be other drinks exhibitors, like Conker Spirit (with their very tasty Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur) and Oatly.

On the Saturday, you’ll be able to watch the Coffee House Project’s inaugural Baristas vs Bartenders cocktail competition, while there will also be two Speciality Coffee Association (SCA) UK competitions taking place over the weekend: the Bristol heats of both the UK Barista Championship 2020, and The UK Cup Tasters Championship.

Tickets are on sale here, with one-day general admission tickets priced at £13, and Latte Art Masterclass tickets priced at £5 each. Want to get a flavour of what to expect? Take a look at their Instagram, Twitter or Facebook feeds.
