Whether you like a game of darts or you’re simply looking for somewhere different to eat or drink, check out Flight Club, a new venue which has opened on Bristol’s Corn Street.

It’s the fifth venue for Flight Club, which also has premises in Birmingham, Leeds, London and Manchester. The birthplace of Social Darts, the new Bristol venue has a total capacity of 200 people and 7 oches (darts playing areas), as well as a feature bar with tables for food and drinks.

Flight Club Bristol is pretty impressive-looking inside – they’ve gone for a coupling of “the nostalgia and warmth of a British pub with the energy and excitement of a fairground in its atmosphere and decor”.

And the darts side of things is pretty interesting too. Their version of the game involves a series of multiplayer games, using their unique patented dart-tracking technology. The tech can connect up to 120 players inside the venue, and with instant scoring, there’s no need for any counting, turning matches into “fast-paced, exciting social experiences”. A 90-minute game slot is priced at £10 per person, and is best booked in advance via their website.

If you’re not after a game, take a look at the drinks menu, where you’ll find draught beers and ciders, wines, cocktails, cocktail slushies and more. And on the food front, there are pizzas, tapas-style dishes, sharing plates and other choices. I’m loving the sound of the Brunch Social – running from 12pm-2pm and 2.30pm-4.30pm Thursday to Sunday, expect bottomless pizza and a bottle of Prosecco each, with tickets costing between £25 and £35.

CEO, Steve Moore, who co-founded Flight Club, said:  “Bristol is a city that excites us a lot and it’s great to have opened our doors to the wonderfully welcoming Bristolians. We’re so excited to be bringing joy to more people and just in time for summer celebrations!

The area is famous for its lively hospitality scene and we’re just thrilled to be a part of it. It’s still early days, but it’s safe to say that we feel very much at home in our new location!”

Book your spot for food or drink via the Flight Club website!
