If you’re looking for ideas for a celebratory event or simply want to learn how to make cocktails, then it’s worth considering booking yourself and your friends in for a cocktail class at Clifton’s Whitelock & Grace

The venue formerly known as the Outback Bar, situated at the top of the steps to Clifton Down train station, became Whitelock & Grace in December 2010. The slogan offered on their website is “Cultured cocktails in Clifton” – a motto they are embracing by offering cocktail classes to their customers.

Classes are available between Tuesday and Saturday…and all you need to do is find a group of 6 or more people who would like to take part, book, pay and enjoy. There are three differently-priced options to choose from, namely…

Option 1:

£20

90 minute session

1 welcome sparkling drink

1 celebration shot

1 cocktail to mix and drink

Option 2:

£25

90 minute session

1 welcome sparkling drink

1 welcome shot

1 celebration shot

1 cocktail to mix and drink

1 farewell cocktail

Option 3:

£30

90 minute session

Light bites on arrival with a welcome sparkling drink

The 90 minute session includes a brief history of cocktails and cocktail making, along with everything you will need to use to make your cocktail(s). You will have the opportunity to make either one of your favourite cocktails or one from W&G’s list, along with team games and a competition (note: there are NO alcoholic drinks given away by way of a prize).
