If you’ve not yet come across the Bristol-based Vegan Emporium, then this weekend is the time to check them out…when they’ll be teaming up with Stokes Croft’s Cafe Kino for what is to become a monthly open day event, showcasing products from the world’s first vegan department store…

Vegan Emporium’s website sells everything from clothes to chocolate, jewellery to jam. Their only criteria (as well as being vegan, of course) are that products must be British-made, Fairtrade and organic, with the site’s product list expanding all the time.

The Cafe Kino event is free entry, and is designed as a day for potential customers to trial their products. According to the Cafe Kino website, you’ll be able to try on shoes and clothing from Vegan Emporium’s range, and “taste more free samples than you can imagine”.

To see what Vegan Emporium have to offer, simply head down to Cafe Kino on Stokes Croft between 10am and 5pm on Saturday, April 9th.
