Chez Iza is the only Supper Club in Bristol that specialises in French regional cuisine. The first menu of this year offers some classic dishes such as Chicken in Red Wine – unfortunately ‘coq’ is very difficult if not impossible to find in Bristol – and Charlotte Aux Poires – a popular dessert in France made of lady fingers, pears and custard.
As always, the evening will be about sharing conviviality and good food in an informal setting. The location has changed and is now at 40 Alfred Place in Kingsdown.
Priced at £27.50 per head, the evening will begin at 7pm with the following menu:
Croustade filled with leek fondue and Munster, Waldorf salad garnish
Poulet au vin (chicken leg in red wine sauce), served with glazed carrots and speck and potato terrine
Pear Charlotte with dark chocolate sauce
