Book now for the next instalment of “Tart After Dark” from the Tart Cafe & Foodstore on Gloucester Road, with the first evening of the year featuring a French-inspired menu.

Chef Andrew Griffin will be serving an aperitif, an appetiser and three wonderful courses, with options for vegetarians available. The menu reads as follows…


Provençal Fish Soup served with Aioli, Rouille and Croutons

For vegetarians:
Cauliflower cheese soup served with Beignet and Parmesan Crisp

To Start
Beetroot and Ewes Curd Tart served with Secretts Gourmet Salad Leaves

To follow:
Braised Shoulder of Lamb Boulangère

For vegetarians:
Root Vegetable Crumble

Served with Seasonal Vegetables

To finish
Caramelised Rice Pudding served with Prunes in Armagnac and Roasted Walnut Shortbread
