Bristol Riverford will be located in the heart of this extraordinary market and will be showcasing the best of its organic produce from seasonal fruit and veg to chutneys, olive oil and wine as well as a special offer for market customers.
Nick Riley from Bristol Riverford said:
“We are really looking forward to Bristol’s BIG Market, it’s such a good opportunity to talk to people about good food and recipes, as well as tell people about our long-standing relationships with our organic producers. We will also be able to show customers how easy it is to set up or change an order, and which box from the full range of vegetable, fruit and meat boxes might offer the best value.”
Guy Watson, who started Riverford, will also be taking part in the Big Green Week programme by speaking at the TED-style talk ‘An Evening of Fast Food’ at the Arnofini at 8pm on Thursday 20th June.
Mullion Cove’s area will be located in Corn Street in Bristol’s city centre and will feature some of the best local food and drink producers from the South West including producers from as far away as Cornwall. Expect to find mouth watering treats from local artisans including Grumpies of Cornwall, Guilberts Chocolates, The Story Group, Whalesborough Farm Foods, Nature Kitchen, Ivors Farmhouse Ice-Cream, Pure Fudge, Wiltshire Chilli Farm, Firebelly Bakery, Whitelake Cheese, Gerry’s Finest Falafel and much more.
