The latest seasonal beer from Bath Ales, Forest Hare, has just hit pumps across the South West and is already going down a storm.

Back by popular demand after its debut last year, Forest Hare is a hoppy autumnal beer with a heady aroma and fresh taste that has drinkers coming in from the cold.

Brewed using imported New Zealand hops with wheat and barley malt to create a unique flavour, Forest Hare offers a crisp and dry palate to keep taste buds alive as the nights draw in.

This is the second year that Bath Ales has treated thirsty drinkers to this brew and it always proves to be a hit with old friends and new fans alike.

Commenting on the latest release, Gerry Condell, head brewer at Bath Ales, said: “I can’t think of a better way to welcome in autumn than with a pint of satisfying ale enjoyed with friends.

“Forest Hare is one of our favourite brews as it marks the change of the season. We’ve crafted this beer to be the perfect accompaniment to a nippy night with its heavy hints of autumnal fruits.”

Forest Hare (3.9% ABV) is available on draught in pubs and bars until November, including Bath Ales’ craft beer bar, Beerd, in Bristol and its newest venue Graze Bar, Brewery and Chophouse in Bath.

Forest Hare is also available on tap nationwide in Wetherspoons pubs whilst stocks last.

For those who like to match their beer with food, Forest Hare goes well with game and meat pies, casseroles and strong or mature cheese.
