The second El Puerto bar that was opened at 10 Denmark Street didn’t last for long – and neither did the tapas bar that took over from it. Now the premises is moving from Spanish to Italian, with the opening of Davinci’s scheduled for early 2014.
Says the Davinci’s website, “We want to create an atmosphere where you can bring your loved ones to relax and enjoy affordable, authentic Italian dishes – dishes that have been passed down through generations.” With the owner having grown up in Sicily, I’m looking forward to hopefully being able to try some authentic Sicilian dishes!
At the time of writing, there was only a holding website in place, with no real clues as to the menu and price range. Keep checking back at www.davincibristol.co.uk for more information…
