You’ve heard of speed dating, but what about cider dating? Organised by Bristol Cider Shop, this one-of-a-kind event aims not only to find your perfect date, but your perfect cider too.
A cross between cider tasting and speed dating, the premise is simple. Each person will have 5 minutes with up to 12 different dates – each date accompanied by a different award-winning West Country cider.
The Cider Dating event will form part of Bristol Cider Shop’s annual bank holiday cider and sausage festival at the Southbank Club in Southville on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th May 2014.
Sticking with tradition, the event will celebrate all things West Country, including over 30 varieties of the very best local ciders, local sausages and local Cajun, country and roots music.
Tickets for the Cider Dating event are now on sale from Bristol Cider Shop, priced at £20 per head. Each ticket includes the chance to meet up to 12 cidertastic dates, tastings of 12 award-winning ciders and perries, nibbles during the evening and free entry to the cider festival downstairs to either drown your sorrows or celebrate your success. Saturday night will be the turn of those from their mid 20s to mid 30s, while the Sunday night is dedicated to those in their mid 30s to mid 40s.
