Those of you who spend time on Whiteladies Road may have noticed that changes are afoot at the Rockfish Grill, with new signage going up to indicate that it will now be known as The Spiny Lobster. Fear not, though – it’s not due to a change of ownership. Instead, the team behind the business have decided to refurbish and rebrand the restaurant and fishmonger, in order to distinguish the Bristol venue from the coastal Rockfish restaurants in Plymouth, Dartmouth, Torquay and the soon-to-be-open Brixham venue.
The Spiny Lobster remains under the same ownership, with the same front of house and kitchen staff and the same dedication to serving great fish and seafood, cooked over fire. All that is changing from January 27th onwards (when the venue re-opens its doors) is the name and the new look that you’ll notice both inside and out.
