Feb 3, 2015 #Valentine's Day
Spread the love

On February 14th, millions of people all over the UK will be exchanging gifts with their partners as tokens of their love for each other. While many people opt for the traditional choices of flowers and chocolates, there are plenty of options out there that make the perfect Valentine’s gifts for foodies. Here are some of our top picks…

Kitchenware is a lovely alternative Valentine’s gift, and there are plenty of romantic options out there. Le Creuset offer heart-shaped mini casserole dishes (£19.99 from eCookshop), while at the Steamer Trading Cookshop, you’ll find everything from heart cheeseboards to cake tins and mugs in their Valentine’s ideas section.

Cheese lovers are spoilt for choice when it comes to gifts: who could resist a heart-shaped cheese? Try a Cornish Yarg Heart from Lynher Dairies (£25.95 for 900g), a 400g heart-shaped Godminster Cheddar truckle (£14.95), or a selection of three heart-shaped cheeses complete with chutney from Pong Cheese (£27.95).

When it comes to Valentine’s gifts for foodies, there are plenty of Bristol-based companies offering great choices too.

Tea lovers will love the range of flowering teas from Bristol-based Canton Tea, while Bristol Blue Glass have a dedicated Valentine’s gift section on their website.
