Eat Drink Bristol Fashion returns to take residency in Bristol’s Queen Square from 29th April to 10 May 2015, with unique collaborations with some of the UK’s best chefs and a programme of tapas and music in its iconic tipi village.

The beautiful setting of Queen Square, located right in the heart of the city, will be transformed into a home to this astonishing two-week festival of food, drink and music. Boasting a tapas restaurant, bar and music stages alongside the new Eat Drink Bristol Fashion Market, the event will showcase independent and locally sourced produce from across the region – all decadently presented under canvas.

This year will feature collaborations between many famous names in the South West food scene, with three Michelin starred chefs from Bath – Sam Moody of the Bath Priory, Hywel Johns of Lucknam Park and Richard Davies of The Manor – taking over the tipis on Sunday 3rd May.

Monday 4th May will be Bristol’s turn when Casamia, The Pony & Trap and The Pumphouse will present a Bristol Chefs evening.

The crème from the Publican Morning Advertiser’s Top 50 Gastropubs will create a stir in the tipis with Steve Harris of first placed pub in 2015, The Sportsman, Stephen Terry of The Hardwick, James McKenzie of The Pipe and Glass and Josh Eggleton of The Pony & Trap cooking side by side for the lucky diners in the fine dining tipi.

Over the bank holiday weekend a local producers’ market will take up residence along two opposite sides of the square, as well as a music stage and cookery theatre with regular workshops with the best chefs in the South West.

Bristol’s own Josh Eggleton is co-founder of Eat Drink Bristol Fashion, kicking off the Guest Chef Evenings with a flagship night with a six course tasting menu incorporating classic seasonal dishes from The Pony & Trap.

As part of the Food Connections festival, Eat Drink Bristol Fashion is focused on promoting sustainability and celebrating the food culture of the South West. Co-founder Luke Hasell explains:

“This year we want to bring something really special to Bristol with a stage usually found in the Glade in Glastonbury set up for the occasion and some of the most interesting chefs we have seen cooking in the tipis. To showcase the food provenance we’ll have a ‘Nose to Tail’ evening with meat sourced from my farm, The Story, and live butchery. It’ll invite chefs from The Pony & Trap, The Ox, Source and The Cowshed to cook alongside us meat experts for some classic cooking from the city’s finest purveyors of steak and all things beef!”

Now in its fourth year, Eat Drink Bristol Fashion is firmly established as one of Bristol’s stand out food events and now proudly celebrates stunning South West produce and the chefs from all generations who made it a great city to dine out.
