The Adam and Eve reopening under new management on October 30th

Spread the love

Great news for those in the Hotwells / Clifton Wood area, as The Adam and Eve reopens on Friday, October 30th thanks to the team behind the city centre’s Small Bar.

The pub’s mission is “to provide top quality, locally sourced beer and food in a warm and comfortable environment, with service to match”. Open from 5-11pm Monday to Thursday, 4pm to 12am on Fridays, 12pm to 12am on Saturdays and 12pm to 11pm on Sundays, The Adam and Eve, at 7 Hope Chapel Hill, hopes to be a destination known both for its drinks and its food.

Enjoy a wide range of beers that includes locally sourced brews from Arbor, Bristol Beer Factory, Tiny Rebel, Wiper and True, Wild Beer and Moor, along with an extensive list of spirits and a compact yet carefully chosen wine list. There’s also a pretty good looking food offering, including Sunday roasts (beginning November 8th), with a veggie haggis option on offer for the non-carnivores. The website also promises a brunch menu (not online at the time of writing), while the regular menu features small plates, mussels, burgers, sides and desserts. The burger menu looks pretty amazing: with four veggie options, three chicken options and five beef options, there’s something for everyone. I love the look of the Big Lebowski: a mammoth burger including a 6oz beef patty, pulled brisket, mac n cheese, crispy bacon, bacon jam, spicy onion ring and jalapenos.
