Pill curry house Joypur celebrates its first anniversary with a £10 all you can eat buffet on Tuesday, November 17, in aid of Pill-based Penny Brohn Cancer Care.

Curry connoisseurs can pick between two starters, four mains, two sides, naan and pilau rice at the Pill Street restaurant from 6pm-11pm. Alcoholic drinks will be on a BYO basis.

Penny Brohn spokeswoman Emma Smith said: “We’re touched that Joypur thought of us to benefit as they mark their first year. Proceeds raised will help us continue our life-changing work supporting people with cancer and their families.”

Penny Brohn is the UK’s leading charity offering a Whole Person Approach – focused on the person and family’s mind, body, spirit and emotions, before, during and after treatment.

Its free adult residential and day courses empower people to have more control of health and wellbeing, to turn a potentially devastating diagnosis into a powerful life-changing experience.

Penny Brohn focuses on areas such as exercise and managing stress, through courses, one-to-one therapies, groups, a treatment support clinic and national helpline.

It wants to reach as many people as possible, but relies on donations.

Booking for the curry night is required via 01275 371111 or 01275 374666. Takeaways are not included.
