This February 12-14, Bristol will be hosting the 6 Music Festival, taking place in venues across the city.

On Friday 12th February from 6pm to 9.30pm, St. Nick’s Night Market will be presenting a special event as part of the festival fringe, featuring a delicious mix of Bristol’s best street food and drinks curated by Love Food Festival, alongside local bands and performers.

For this unique edition of the night market, ‘BBC Introducing in the West’ will be curating an exclusive market stage, where visitors will be entertained by a showcase of up and coming musical talent from across the country. St Nicholas Street will be closed for the evening making way for even more stalls and producers, so it’s set to be a very special event.

There will be a lip-smacking line up of global street food and locally produced ales, ciders and wines on offer, as well as plenty of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Past markets have featured street food from every corner of the globe, from Mexico to Morocco and Jamaica to Japan, plus all of the food stalls inside the Glass Arcade. Great food and great music go hand in hand so for this special Night Market visitors can expect musical menus and one-off specials to celebrate the festival coming to Bristol.

On Tuesday 19th January 2016, 6 Music will announce the full line up of bands and artists and the dates tickets will go on sale. Primal Scream, Roni Size, Tricky, The Blue Aeroplanes and Pinch have already been announced as part of the line up and you can stay updated by heading to www.bbc.co.uk/6music.
