Healthy Asian-inspired and innovative food brand itsu is bringing its ‘eat beautiful’ menu to Bristol this winter, with itsu Bristol opening in Broadmead on Wednesday, December 14th. Already well-established in London, Oxford, Brighton, Manchester and Leeds, their newest shop will be the first in the South West, serving 64 different dishes.

2-4 Broadmead (formerly the home of clothing store Apricot) will be itsu’s new Bristol home, and the store will open from 5pm on the 14th. The brainchild of Julian Metcalfe (who also founded Pret a Manger), itsu will be serving evening udon dishes and plenty more, with a number of dishes suitable for vegans and vegetarians too.

itsu Bristol will be fully licenced, serving wine, beer and prosecco, while fans of hot drinks will be pleased to know that a free banana is on offer with every tea or coffee purchase.

The team will also be introducing “Bento of the month”, which throughout December will be the festive ‘santa-on-sea’ box with smoked salmon. These boxes will then change each month.

You’ll also be able to buy snack options from the itsu grocery range, including their crispy seaweed thins, chocolate edamame, prawn crackers, coconut crunch and dark chocolate rice cakes.

And in keeping with Bristol’s green credentials, a focus on sustainability will see an itsu sale every day half an hour before closing, where all sushi and salad boxes will be reduced to half price, meaning that almost nothing will go in the bin.

Full menus and more details can be found at www.itsu.com.
