Describing itself as a “market bar & events space”, Corner 77 will be opening this spring in the former home of MeatLiquor on Stokes Croft.

Corner 77 is the brainchild of Kieran and Imogen Waite – the pair behind Bravas, Cargo Cantina and Bakers & Co. And by the sound of it, Corner 77 is set to be just as exciting as their three existing venues.

While London is home to plenty of indoor street food markets, the concept hasn’t yet made its way over to Bristol. Until now, that is. Kieran and Imogen plan on opening up the floor to Bristol’s best street food traders on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, with the aim of creating a fun, friendly and lively space complete with music and a bar for a night out that’s unlike anything our city already offers.

Talking of the bar, the pair recently shared a photo on Instagram of their trials of infused rums, which sound pretty exciting…

Outside of the street food night market times, Corner 77 will be opened up to others who want to host pop-ups and similar events.

There’s no official opening date as yet – all we know is that the venue is set to open this spring. Stay up to date with their progress by visiting their website, or following them on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.
