Book now for the inaugural Bristol Cider Tasting Tour from The Ciderologist on Saturday, May 19th, to taste and learn about some of our region’s greatest ciders.

The Ciderologist is Bristol-based, award-winning global cider expert Gabe Cook, who some of you may recognise from his appearances on C4’s Sunday Brunch. After the success of his cider tours of London’s Bermondsey, which began in 2017, Gabe is now taking to the streets of Bristol to run monthly Saturday tours that cover three different venues.

The cider journey starts at The Stable, where those taking part will taste a flight 5 of entirely different ciders and perries as Gabe explains how and why the differences are achieved – accompanied, of course, by some pizza. From there, it’s on to The Apple, Bristol’s floating cider pub, to taste some traditional West Country fare, before heading onto the Bristol Cider Shop.  Here, as well as sampling some of the finest ciders from the local area, Gabe will be showing how to match these drinks with a hand-picked selection from the award-winning Bristol Cheesemonger.

The first tour takes place from 12pm to 3pm on Saturday, May 19th, and is priced at £40 per head (tickets available here). Can’t make May 19th? You can also book for subsequent months, with tickets for June 2nd, July 14th and August 4th also available.
