After a two-month refurb, The Langton in St Anne’s has now reopened with a new look and brand new management.

Paul Frost – the licensee at the Colston Arms on St Michael’s Hill – and fiancée Eva have taken the helm, with the opening night on May 10th having been touted as a success.

A £500,000 cash injection from pubco Star Pubs & Bars has given the place a complete overhaul, with the skittles alley getting a fresh new look, a brand new bar having been put in, and the frontage having been transformed to bring the place up to date.

At The Langton you’ll find all sorts of beers and ciders, both draught and bottled, as well as a barista-style coffee menu. On the food front, the menu’s a blend of British, Asian, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean, with traditional fish and chips sitting alongside dishes like falafel burgers, Greek mezze and antipasti platters.

And there’s plenty more happening, too. There’s a skittles alley and a dartboard to keep pub-goers entertained, as well as a Club Room upstairs that can be booked for private events, and which will also be home to Eve’s yoga sessions.

The Langton bills itself as family and dog-friendly – and it’s a much-needed boost for an area that’s very short on pubs…

Good luck to Paul and Eva! Follow their journey on Facebook and Instagram
