On Wednesday, July 14th, Coppa Club will open in Clifton Village, Bristol as a venue for people to relax, eat, drink and work – and the brand’s first premises in the South West.

The venue will span two floors in what was previously a PizzaExpress site, creating a space with 200 covers that, they say, “combines all the best elements of a café, bar, restaurant and lounge into one offering that provides something for everyone – a private members club experience, without the membership fees”.

From dedicated workspace for professionals to use during the day to comfortable lounge areas for relaxed lunches and a library space for coffees, the aim is to create a space for all purposes in the daytime. In the evening, the bar will serve a classic cocktail list (including a Negroni made with Bristol Gin) as well as light bites, like parmesan croquettes or zucchini fritti with chilli-rippled yoghurt.

The restaurant menu itself is available all day, too: pastries, garden breakfast plates and buckwheat & rye pancakes in the mornings, as well as a dedicated brunch menu at the weekends. At lunchtime and in the evening, there’s a focus on seasonal European dishes: think truffle & smoked mozzarella arancini, Loch Duart salmon with braised puy lentils, grain bowls, fresh pasta dishes, thin-crust sourdough pizzas and more.

The Bristol branch of Coppa Club follows numerous others – the brand began in Berkshire in 2015, and has since expanded to cover sites across London and the surrounding counties.

Bookings have already opened on the Coppa Club website, with the doors opening on Wednesday, July 14th. From then, Coppa Club Clifton Village will be open 8am to 11pm Monday to Saturday, and 8.30am to 10pm on Sundays.
