Many congratulations are due to The Muset in Clifton, who have recently been awarded 2 AA Rosettes – only the fifth Bristol restaurant to receive such an accolade.

I visited The Muset in November 2012, and described the experience as the best meal out I’d had in a long time, “a rare evening where food, drink, service and atmosphere combined seamlessly to provide the kind of dining experience that I’d more than happily enjoy on a regular basis”.

The 2 AA Rosette award comes hot on the heels of the restaurant being shortlisted in two categories in the recent Food Magazine Readers’ Awards, and being a finalist in three categories (Best Chef, Best Restaurant and Best Fine Dining Wine List) in the 2012 Bristol Good Food Awards.

Says head chef Jethro Lawrence, “We are delighted with this accolade, getting this level of recognition from such a prestigious national awarding body is such an honour”.

Front of house manager Jonathan Bowker adds, “The guys in the kitchen work tirelessly, we get to see the gratification from our guests when they dine with us, we always endeavour to convey this to Jethro and the team in the kitchen.  When an award like this comes along, it’s official – well done to Team Muset!”

Congratulations to Jethro, Jonathan and the team – a fantastic accolade, and well-deserved!
