Harbourside Market

The Harbourside Market hopes to tempt Bristol’s city centre into bringing back the proper lunch break at their brand new lunch time food market, Street Food Thursdays. Launching on April 28th, the event will take place every Thursday from midday to 3pm, by the waterside on Bristol’s Broad Quay.

The team are inviting people to pop down and treat themselves to lunch from a local street food trader, or bring their own and make use of the outdoor tables and chairs, getting them out into the fresh air and meeting other lunchers. Resident Market DJ, J.Morrison, will be spinning some feel-good tunes to provide the perfect atmosphere for a proper relax.

Market Director, James Coomber, said, “Too many people don’t give themselves a proper break or meal at lunch time. With summer around the corner, we want Street Food Thursdays to be an excuse to get outside, get a delicious lunch in and give yourself a deserved break from computer screens.”

Each stall, covering cuisine from around the globe, will have a veggie option, including Buckland Venison! Hungry workers can also look forward to Persian meals from Open Sesame, handmade gyoza from Eatchu, coffee from Canadian cable car The Coffee Gondola, Caribbean wraps from Tasty Ragga and a whole host more which are listed on their website at www.theharboursidemarket.co.uk.
