Camembert Brulee – recipe submitted by Angela from the Ginger Fig blog


1 block of Camembert cheese
2 tbsp of sugar



1) Sprinkle a thin layer of sugar over the top of the cheese
2) Using a blow torch, torch the sugar until the sugar caramelises
3) Serve with crackers and a glass of port

Note: Alternatively if you do not have a blow torch, just pop the cheese under the grill for a few minutes until the sugar caramelises in exactly the same way
