There are still just a few seats remaining for the next instalment of Danielle Coombs’ Bishopston Supper Club, taking place at 7.30pm on Saturday, April 12th.
This time, it’s one of her fantastic beer dinners, with Somerset-based The Wild Beer Co. showcasing a range of their beers which will be matched with each course. Beer expert Chris Kay will be on hand on the night to talk diners through each beer, and to answer any beer-related questions that they may have.
The number of places is limited and on this occasion Danielle is requesting that a deposit of £10 per person be paid to Grape & Grind, in advance, the remaining £30 to be paid, in cash, on the night.
The menu and beer matches for the night will look a little something like this…
Ninkasi – Westcombe Cheddar gougères (v)
Solera – St. George mushroom and wild garlic three grain risotto, nettle oil (v)
Sourdough – mackerel escabêche (kohlrabi, fennel & pomegranate salad – v )
Evolver – hogget tagine, citrus pearl cous cous, toasted almond tuille (sweet potato & squash tagine – v)
Rubus Maximus – rhubarb, yoghurt and rose délice, rhubarb & Rubus sorbet
Coffee and truffles
The evening will begin at 7.30pm, and is expected to finish between 11 and 11.30pm. Alternative menu options are available for specific dietary requirements – simply ask Danielle in advance. The exact location (BS7) will be revealed to each diner once their deposit has been paid, and you’re more than welcome to bring along other drinks too.
