Bristol-based vegan food delivery specialists Miller Green, and chef, nutritionist and allergy therapist Louise Marchionne have concocted the Quinoa Buddha Bowl in aid of Pill-based Penny Brohn UK, supporting those facing cancer.

Miller Green founder Sue Miller said: “We wanted to help Penny Brohn UK because we greatly admire the charity’s whole life approach and emphasis on good nutrition, self-care and mindfulness.”

The dish, costs £4.50, with £1 going to the UK’s leading holistic cancer charity, and is packed with cancer-fighting ingredients.

Louise says, “The dish is vegan, easy to digest and packed with antioxidants, particularly turmeric that has proven cancer-fighting properties. There’s also fresh herbs, apple cider vinegar and lemon juice, which have health-promoting benefits, and some of the veg is lightly roasted for a superbly sweet taste.

“It’s essentially a brightly-coloured, nourishing hug in a bowl, so buy yours today and help Penny Brohn continue to reach those needing its life-changing support.”

The bowl’s release tied in with Bristol’s Healthy City Week and Penny Brohn clients get 10% off any Miller Green meals by quoting “Living Well”. To buy the dish and for more information, visit or call them on 07910 765649.

Penny Brohn’s head of partnership fundraising, Samantha Young, said, “We are thrilled to unite with Miller Green – we support their emphasis on good nutrition, local produce and fair trade.

“Their delicious dishes offer a convenient way for people to incorporate more veg, nuts and pulses into their diet, but could accompany any meat or fish.”

Penny Brohn UK’s Whole Life Approach explores areas such as diet, exercise, relationships and managing stress, through free courses, one-to-one therapies, groups, a treatment support clinic and national helpline.
